Annapolis, MD, June 18, 2018— RadSiteTM, a CMS-recognized accrediting agency that promotes quality-based diagnostic imaging, announced today the first complimentary webinar of its 2018 Summer Educational Series, entitled MACRA Simplified: Why Pay When You Can Get Paid? The session will take place on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. EST and will last approximately one hour.

This webinar delivers valuable insights on the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA), a policy that has bipartisan support both in the House and Senate and is being implemented to a gradually increasing performance threshold. Clinical support and buy-in remain uncertain, however, without a clear understanding of the regulations on the part of physicians in a practical sense.

RadSite’s webinar will address that need. Clinical experts will share constructive and pragmatic steps for transforming MACRA from a burden to an opportunity.

In this webinar, Alex Tanase, MD, FAAP, CMQ, who is the Chief Medical Officer and co-founder of NotoVox, Inc., and Shaan Gandhi, MD, DPhil, MBA, who is resident physician of internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, will review MACRA’s concepts from a clinician’s perspective. The webinar will be moderated by Neculai Archip, PhD, MBA, who is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Cranberry Peak.

Specifically, the webinar will address three core areas:

  • MACRA glossary and basics
  • Simplifying MACRA’s complexity
  • Practical examples of how clinicians can benefit from MACRA

The Appropriate Use Criteria program in the context of MACRA will also briefly be discussed.

Radiologists, as well as any professional involved in quality, performance, regulations or other related initiative, can benefit from this webinar.

While the webinar is complimentary, pre-registration is strongly encouraged. To register, click here. To listen to RadSite’s previous webinars, including February’s Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging: Hype, Reality and Future Applications, click here.
