Presentation Will Provide Overview of RadSite’s new MIPPA Accreditation Program Standards version 3.1

Annapolis, MD, November 19th, 2020 —RadSite,™ a leading accrediting organization promoting performance and quality-based imaging practices, announced today that its next webinar will take place on Wednesday, December 9th, at 2:00 p.m. ET. The webinar is titled “An Overview of RadSite’s new MIPPA Accreditation Program Standards version 3.1.”

This webinar will feature an overview of RadSite’s revised Standards including the new specialty accreditation modules. The session will feature RadSite’s leadership and provide helpful insights to optimize the accreditation process. The presentation also will review several new standards development and public policy initiatives that RadSite is working on.

The presentation will be moderated by Patrick D. Browning, MD, MA, MSL, RadSite Chief Medical Officer. The speakers will be:

Currently, RadSite offers three MAP ADI accreditation programs covering CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine (i.e., PET, PET/CT and SPECT) imaging providers (also known as imaging suppliers). Successful RadSite applicants will continue to receive a general accreditation seal for each ADI modality but also may apply and be recognized for one or more clinical subspecialty areas under MAP Standards version 3.1.

The following RadSite specialty modules will be discussed during the webinar:

  • CT: Angiography, Body, Cardiac, Maxillofacial, Musculoskeletal, and Neurologic;
  • MRI: Angiography, Body, Breast, Cardiac, Functional, Musculoskeletal, and Neurologic; and
  • NucMed: Planar/SPECT – Cardiac and PET or PET/CT – Cardiac, Infection, Neurologic, Oncology.
