For the past two years, RadSite has been developing accreditation standards for Cone Beam CT diagnostic imaging. Cone Beam CT imaging represents a new and innovative way to image for certain specialty exams, including dental/maxillofacial, ENT, mammography, orthopedics, and podiatry.  RadSite’s standards development efforts represent the first attempt to develop standards that incorporate both manufacture requirements and national physics standards. The dynamic session highlighted RadSite’s new Cone Beam CT Standards and related accreditation requirements – along with key insights on where Cone Beam CT imaging as a field is heading.
